CORN SALAD, Verte de Cambrai
Annual plant with ovoid leaves forming a rosette. The leaves have a pleasant salad flavor and are rich in vitamins and minerals. Lamb’s lettuce is grown as an aftercrop crop for harvesting from late autumn to early spring. Sow for autumn harvesting in July-August, for winter storage – in early September. Sowing in rows every 20 cm. Plants overwinter without damage, under a cover of snow, twigs or fleece.
