Description
OREGANO, Origanum vulgare
Perennial plant, 40-50 cm tall. Leaves with the top of the shoot are used as spices. It is used for pizza, but also for seasoning dishes made of eggs, meat, fish, cheese and vegetable salads. The herb has disinfecting, expectorant and antispasmodic properties. Sowing seeds in March-April under covers or in April-May directly into the ground in rows every 40-50 cm. The emergence takes place within two weeks.
