PELARGONIE – fertilizer intended for fertilizing all types and species of geraniums, balcony, as well as home and bedding. It is also perfect for fertilizing begonias, petunia, fuchsia, verbena and other balcony and terrace plants. Also recommended in the cultivation of pelargonium in compositions with other plants. It contains a set of macro- and micronutrients necessary for proper growth and development. It ensures high health of the fertilized plants, their abundant and long-lasting flowering and intensive color of flowers. This fertilizer is also used by growers in the professional cultivation of balcony and bedding plants. Crystalline fertilizers are intervention fertilizers – they immediately replenish nutrient deficiencies thanks to minerals that are available to plants in easily digestible forms.
For geraniums to grow strongly and regenerate quickly after frequent pinching, they need large amounts of nitrogen. Nitrogen, along with magnesium and iron, also positively influences the correct green color of the leaves. The phosphorus and potassium contained in the fertilizer strengthen the plant’s resistance to diseases and stress factors, such as, for example, drought, high temperature. A number of macro- and micro-nutrients contained in the fertilizer are responsible for the intense color of the flowers.
Use once a week while watering. Prepare a water solution, allocating 1 teaspoon of fertilizer to 5 liters of water (1 g of fertilizer per 1 liter of water). Water the plants with the solution obtained in this way until the substrate is moist. During the flowering period, fertilize the plants with each watering. Plants should be watered after the substrate, avoiding contact with leaves and flowers. The recommended doses should not be exceeded, because the fertilizer is highly condensed.
