Thujas against browning – it is a crystalline fertilizer to be dissolved in water. Intervention fertilizer reducing symptoms of browning needles and symptoms of chlorosis. Easily digestible magnesium and iron contained in the fertilizer restore the intense green color of leaf scales and needles. Crystalline fertilizers immediately replenish nutrient deficiencies thanks to minerals that are available to plants in easily digestible forms.
֍
Thujas are unique plants. They have needles transformed into leaf scales surrounding the shoot. These plants are also characterized by a shallow root system. Therefore, there is a need for constant watering, and at the same time providing nutrients, because their roots, growing on a limited area, quickly use the nutrients in their environment. Deficiency of certain nutrients – mainly magnesium in thuja contributes (if we have already ruled out diseases and pests) to yellowing, and then to browning and dying off of leaf scales. Magnesium is an important element that is involved in the construction of chlorophyll – the green dye that gives color to scales, needles and leaves. The Tuje anti-browning fertilizer contains as much as 15% of this element. Additionally, it contains iron, which activates the process of dyes formation. The remaining micronutrients also contribute to the attractive appearance of these plants. Phosphorus and potassium support plants in terms of drought resistance and also prepare plants for wintering. Tuje anti-browning fertilizer after a single application in the case of magnesium deficiency, replenishes its deficiency.
֍
Note: The browning of the needles can also be caused by various diseases and pests, then you should use specialized plant protection products. The change in the color of the needles to a brownish winter season is also characteristic of some types of thuja, incl. ‘Brabant’, ‘Rheingold’. Browning and dying off of the needles in the inner part of the plant is a natural process, while the plant grows, it loses its inner needles that are not reached by sunlight.

Application method
Use once or once a month, depending on the needs of the plants. The fertilizer can be applied to the soil in the form of an aqueous solution or in loose form. For every 1 meter of the height of the conifer, allocate 3 teaspoons of fertilizer (15 g of fertilizer / 1 l of water), sprinkling it evenly or watering the obtained solution under the canopy of the crown of a tree or shrub. In the case of creeping conifers, allocate 2 teaspoons of fertilizer (10 g / 1 liter of water) for every 0.5 meters of the diameter of the bush span.
֍
Note: Do not apply the fertilizer directly to the plants, and if this occurs, rinse the plant with plenty of water. Water the fertilized plant abundantly, not allowing the substrate to dry out for at least a few days.
