The use of fertilizers for vegetables, herbs and fruit does not cause the risk of over-fertilization of the plants.
Organic fertilization is important for the soil and high yields
Organic fertilization is of great importance in improving soil properties. It has a positive effect on the physical properties of the soil, creating a lumpy, i.e. more porous structure. The pores, i.e. the spaces between the clods of earth, allow more water and air to accumulate in the substrate. As a result, plant roots have easier breathing and a better possibility of water intake.
Organic fertilization also affects the chemical properties of the soil. Organic matter increases the sorption properties of the soil, which means that more minerals are kept within the root ball of the plants. Plants have constant access to nutrients because they do not escape deep into the soil profile.
In addition, organic ingredients support the biological life of the soil. Useful soil microorganisms, which decompose organic matter, inhabit the substrate and thanks to the supplied organic substance they have excellent conditions for development. In the case of plants grown in the ground, such fertilization also promotes the development of beneficial earthworms.
In garden conditions, we often have the opportunity to produce natural fertilizers that will enrich the substrate. Compost, grass clippings, and nettle manure are just a few examples of natural fertilizers. At home, nobody will be tempted to use unpleasant-smelling manure, such as liquid manure. In addition, such a fertilizer has quite a strong effect. While in the ground such fertilizer can decompose nicely and spread over a larger area, there is no such possibility in a pot. Therefore, in pot cultivation, it is worth using fertilizers for vegetables, herbs and fruits – Biohumicol Forte. This does not preclude the use of these fertilizers for vegetables in field crops.
Application method
Preparation of the fertilizing solution:
Dilute 50-100 ml of fertilizer (2-4 container caps) in 1-4 l of water. Water the plants with the solution obtained.
Doses and dates of use:
Vegetables: Water the plants from the emergence of seeds and planting seedlings throughout the growing season until the beginning of fruiting and fruit picking, every 10-14 days. Use about 0.2-0.3 liters of the solution per plant or about 1.0-1.5 liters of solution per 1 m2 of soil surface for watering at a time.
Herbs: As in the cultivation of vegetables, use a diluted fertilizer solution every 10-14 days during the growing season. The doses and dates for herbal plants are the same as in the cultivation of vegetable plants.
Fruit-fruit plants: Water the plants in the period from the start of vegetation until the end of plant growth, at intervals of 10-14 days. Pour the fertilizer solution on the soil surface around trees / shrubs, using about 1 liter of solution per 1 m2.
