LETTUCE, Red Salad Bowl
A variety creating a large, decorative, maroon rosette of leaves, each of which resembles an oak leaf. Delicate and tasty leaves can be harvested successively as they grow back or by cutting off entire rosettes. Recommended as a decorative component of salads and sandwiches. The variety is intended for cultivation in soil and under foil from spring to autumn. Sowing seeds in March under covers, and from April to August on the seedbed. Plant seedlings on a permanent site from April to September at a distance of 30×30 cm. Requires fertile soil, rich in nutrients and water.
