An annual plant, 50-6 cm high, with upright shoots, branched at the top, producing several stately fruits with purple skin. In field cultivation, it is successful in warm years in sunny and sheltered places. It grows best and bears fruit under the foil. Sow for field cultivation in the second half of March. In the phase of one pair of leaves, dive into pots or on pallets with a hole diameter of 6-8 cm. Plant into the ground at the end of May with a spacing of 50-6 cm. It requires fertile, humus-rich soil, rich in water. Avoid growing after cruciferous and root crops, potatoes, tomatoes and peppers.
