FERTILIZER FOR GRAPEVINES, CURRANTS, RASPBERRIES AND BLACKBERRY

The fertilizer for grapevines, currants, raspberries and blackberries is a granular mineral fertilizer. Its wholesome composition fully covers the natural needs of plants for macro- also micro-nutrients.

The optimal content of nitrogen, phosphorus also potassium guarantees intensive plant growth, thanks to which the crops are abundant and the fruit is rich, well-formed, properly colored and very tasty. Additionally the specificity of the fertilizer means that it does not cause excessive accumulation of nitrates in plants, so the fruit can be eaten immediately after fertilizing.

Application method

Use in terms depending on the species:

Vines • fertilize 3 times a year – in early spring, in the phase of intensive shoot growth and during flowering

Currants • fertilize twice a year – in early spring also at the turn of May and June

Raspberries and blackberries • fertilize 3 times a year – in early spring, May also at the turn of June and July

Generally fall fertilizer should be applied from September.

1. 1. Measure the right amount of fertilizer, depending on the species also size of plants:

Grapevines

1. 1. • younger grapevines – apply 40 g of fertilizer for each 1 m2 of cultivation area
      • older vines with a thick stem – apply 50-60 g of fertilizer for each plant

Currants

1. 1. • for small bushes (approx. 0.5 m in diameter of the crown), apply 10-20 g of fertilizer for each plant
      • for larger bushes (approx. 1 m in diameter of the crown), apply 30-40 g of fertilizer for each plant

Raspberries and blackberries

1. 1. 1. fertilization – in early spring, use 30 g for every 1 m of cultivation
      2. fertilization – in May, use 20-30 g for every 1 m of the crop
      3. fertilization – at the turn of June and July, use 15 g for every 1 m of cultivation
   2. Sprinkle the fertilizer evenly around the plant also mix it with the topsoil if possible.
   3. Generally after applying the fertilizer, water the plant abundantly.

1 handful is about 30 – 40 g of fertilizer.
